Thinking of Buying a New Build Home in 2026?

If you are someone who prefers to buy new, loves to customize your home or perhaps appreciates being an original owner then buying from a builder is for you.  You may be temped to reach out to a builder directly if you are thinking of buying a new build home or condo in 2026. There are many reasons to be represented by an Ottawa real estate sales representative who has specialized expertise and knowledge of Ottawa builders and the procedures in purchasing a new home. Often builders will ask you to sign up or register on-line for more information, sign a guest card at a sales center site, or if you call a builder sales center directly, you should mention that you are working with a real estate sales representative. It is important that we visit the sales centre with you at the first opportune time in order to register you to be able to represent you.

Beyond the multitude of design options the builder will have for you, considering which neighbourhood, location and lot are important factors for your family as well as for making a good investment. If your a first-time home buyer, note there is a proposed New GST/HST Rebate that could eliminate the federal portion of GST/HST on new homes up to $1 million, with a phased rebate up to $1.5 million (up to $50,000). The bill is tabled by the Government and may become law soon but isn’t yet in effect.
