Bridlewood / Emerald Meadows / Trail West / Monahan Landing / Blackstone

Nestled along the TransCanada Trail and the National Capital Commission Greenbelt, Bridlewood is located in South Kanata. As Bridlewood grew, new housing developments of Emerald Meadows and Trail West expanded to the South and West to offer a variety of homes: townhomes, detached 2 storeys and bungalows, and adult style bungalows. Monahan Landing is the latest community to be built, bordering onto Hope Side Road. Access to Old Richmond Road, West Huntclub Road and Fallowfield Road are close by. These communities offer many amenities, parks and recreation facilities, for young families, professionals and seniors. To highlight a few: Eva James Memorial Community Center, Bridlewood Tennis Club, Bridlewood Park, Deevy Pines Park, Bluegrass Park, Kristina Kiss Park , Chris Phillips and Chris Neil Rinks. Shopping is handy with the Bridlewood Square, Eagleson Plaza, Stonehaven Plaza and the Real Canadian Superstone. A number of elementary and secondary schools service these neighborhoods including: W.O. Mitchell Elementary School, Roch Carrier Elementary School, Elisabeth Bruyere Catholic Elementary School, St. James Catholic School, St. Anne Catholic Elementary School, AY Jackson Secondary School, and Holy Trinity Catholic High School.
