Thank you for supporting the 11th Annual Jeanne Fuller Red Dress Golf Charity Classic. We had an incredible day on the greens at Loch March Golf and Country Club. A great day was had by all who attended and supported the event and, collectively, our community raised $147,000 towards support for the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute! Thank you for supporting Hearts in Motion 2017!Hearts in Motion, presented by CP has Heart (in partnership with The Great Trail and LaBarge Weinstein) is the University of Ottawa Heart Institute’s virtual event. The event took place between June 1st and 30th, 2017. Our thanks to everyone who participated, championed, sponsored, and made a donation in support of this event. Highlights from this year’s event included:

February is Heart Month and it provided an amazing opportunity to bring people together to raise awareness – and essential funds – for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Our sincere thanks to our sponsors, community champions, partners, event organizers and participants, volunteers, and donors. Our new building – the Heart Institute’s first major expansion since its founding more than 40 years ago – will be completed in early 2018. This expansion will allow the Heart Institute to address patient needs for the long term, treating more patients on an ongoing basis with an increased focus on specialized cardiac needs. As the building nears completion, our focus is on purchasing the highly specialized equipment it will require. Thank you for supporting the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation. We raised much more than we needed, which will be put towards the hybrid OR. Did you know? Public health care funding covers operating costs only which means, that acquiring leading edge equipment is dependent on people like you! We are so happy to have you by our side Joan.
