Staying in Touch – December 2021

Welcome to December & Happy Holidays to You!

ottawaWe are thankful to say we are all well and wishing the same to you and your family. There are many things to be grateful for and we take pleasure in doing our best to help those in our community. Don’t forget the Kanata Food CupboardToy Mountain and Chrysalis House, they are counting on all of us.

The weather is changing quickly and soon it will be time to go skating on the Canal and skiing in the Gatineau Hills. We are so lucky to have so many winter activities close to us. The Nutcracker at the National Arts Center is having great reviews and it certainly brings the Christmas feeling closer.

The persistent housing supply shortage has resulted in a continued seller’s market. Market activity has generally slowed as a result of lack of inventory, a challenge for housing markets from coast to coast. As we move into the new year we expect another unusually busy winter season building to a brisk Spring 2022 market.

We will be taking some time this month to reflect on those who we appreciate; family, friends, neighbors and professional colleagues. We are grateful and delighted to see our local hockey teams having fun and happy to support them again.

It has been an exciting year in real estate and we thank you for your trust. We look forward to assisting you in 2022.

Please call us to have a chat anytime, we would love to hear from you. We are a full service brokerage and we would gladly share our views on the market and answer your specific questions if you are thinking of a move or renovation.

Joan, Victoria and Luc
