07 Dec Staying in Touch – December 2020
We will all remember 2020 as an unprecedented year. We are very thankful for where we live. As we continue to be diligent we are optimistic about the housing market with the continued low-interest rate environment. Low interest rates have improved affordability for a key group of individuals who were waiting on the sidelines. They are also giving homeowners a chance to save money by refinancing their mortgages. The country’s sales to new listing ratio is at it highest level in two decades.
Our year to date stats (Nov. 2020) show us that inventory levels have remained low and put upward pressure on prices. Ottawa is an attractive market and place to live, neighboring city residents and investors agree.
If you are like many people, you will be taking some time this month to reflect on those you have come to appreciate in 2020; family, friends, neighbours and professional acquaintances. We take this opportunity to say how much we appreciate the clients and professionals we have worked with and to stay in touch with you. We want to especially thank all the front line workers for their endless efforts to take care of us.
Thank you for your trust. All the best to you and your family in 2021!
