In these tough times, there are lots of women and mothers in less fortunate situations. Emergency women’s shelters across Canada providing safe shelter to women and children fleeing from domestic violence have been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Operational costs for shelters are up and the fundraising events they rely on are being cancelled. One way you can help for Mother’s Day is to donate to help the shelters serving brave women and children.
