Phil Soper The Top Canadian in Swanepoel Power 200
TORONTO, January 13, 2022 – For the ninth year in a row, T3 Sixty’s Swanepoel Power200 (SP200) has named Phil Soper, President and CEO of Royal LePage and Bridgemarq Real Estate Services, Inc., the most influential person in Canadian residential real estate. Soper ranked 13th on the SP200, the definitive international ranking of residential real estate leaders. Chief Operating Officer, Carolyn Cheng, has also been recognized on the prestigious list for the third consecutive year.
“When Stefan began to recognize industry leaders, it felt odd,” said Phil Soper. “We were the ones who dutifully thanked our people with awards each year, not the other way around. And here we are a decade later, grateful for the recognition that the Swanepoel T3 organization provides the top ranks of industry leadership, and by extension, the wonderful leagues of people we lead.
“Our motto at Royal LePage is ‘helping you is what we do’. This client-first mentality reminds us of our purpose – to serve with excellence. I am exceptionally proud of our team and their commitment to living up to this ideal. They continue to deliver remarkable results, while navigating the seemingly endless series of business curveballs we have faced during the pandemic. It is with a deep sense of gratitude and much pride that I call myself their leader.”
Carolyn Cheng ranked 95th overall and 21st amongst female leaders. She is responsible for developing and overseeing the overall services suite including
brokerage, teams and agent business, technology, and training initiatives.
“At Bridgemarq, we aim to deliver cutting-edge business solutions and provide our network with invaluable tools to increase productivity and efficiency. Our accomplished COO, Carolyn Cheng, continues to head up our AI-based digital brokerage platform which greatly benefits agents and management throughout the company. Her recognition in the prestigious SP200 for a third consecutive year is well-deserved,” said Soper.
Cheng added, “I am delighted to be included in this list amongst a group of talented and notable executives. This significant recognition amplifies the hard work, resilience and dedication our innovative and adaptable team has delivered over the last year.”
