There is more to consider than the age of the home and required updates.   • Size of lot, how important is this to you? If you’re looking for more outdoor space lots are usually bigger in more mature neighborhoods
  • Are you a gardener/landscaper? Trees are established and more landscaping is typically done in more mature neighborhoods
  • Would you like more room/privacy around your home? Consider the density of homes in the neighborhood.
  • Do you frequent parks, play structures, sporting amenities? Are they close by?
  • If you have children, what types of schooling and programs are you looking for? Are they offered in specific neighborhoods?
  • Do you use public transit? Is it established in the neighborhoods you are interested in?
