International Women’s Day 2020

International Women’s Day is a day to recognize the achievements of women and girls around the globe, and to reflect on the progress made towards achieving gender equality. We celebrate all of the amazing individuals who have played a role in raising awareness and advancing equality in our communities.

Kanata North Councillor, Jenna Sudds will be hosting an International Women’s Day breakfast on March 5th, 7:30am – 9:00am at the Mlacak Centre. Representatives from The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) will be raising funds through the Daffodil Campaign. The CCS has partnered with Kanata North’s Trillium Floral Designs to sell potted daffodils for $10. The breakfast will have light refreshments, an opportunity to meet local women, and montorship opportunities for future female leaders.
