Inspire the Features and Finishing Touches for the new Ottawa Public Library

The new Ottawa Public Library and Library and Archives Canada joint facility will become a landmark destination in the nation’s capital that will showcase Canada’s heritage, and you have the opportunity to share your ideas. 

Until December 10, you can visit Inspire555.ca to help inspire the features and finishing touches for Ottawa’s future landmark: the Ottawa Public Library-Library and Archives Canada Joint Facility.

This opportunity is your last chance to contribute ideas online that will help inspire the design of this facility. This will compliment the input gathered from in-person workshops in Ottawa where hundreds of participants provided their inspiration.

In this Inspire555 engagement,you are asked to share your thoughts on:

  • The design influences of the natural landscape
  • Way that the facility can become an inclusive destination for everyone
  • How building materials can affect the way a space is perceived and enjoyed
