The Labour Day long weekend is here and it’s the last summer hurrah! This may be your last weekend to truly enjoy summer before the fall and school season begins. Ottawa has you covered if you’re staying in town this weekend with lots of events and beautiful weather.

There will be games, snacks for both you and your pets, prized, dog washes and more. Flying Hound pop will be there to keep your furry friends cool.

Wine on the Water

Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival
This year, the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival is celebrating it’s 31st edition. This family fun event is also full of amusement rides, fireworks and live music! Balloons of all shapes, sizes and colours will be lifting off in the morning and evening on the festival days. After dark, you can watch some of the balloons lit up during the Night Glow event.

Northern Lights: Sounds and Light Show
