In these tough times, there are lots of women and mothers in less fortunate situations. Emergency women’s shelters provide safe shelter to women and children fleeing from domestic violence have been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Operational costs for shelters are up and the fundraising events they rely on are cancelled. One way you can help for Mother’s Day is to donate to help the shelters serving these brave women and children.

You can donate through the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre and direct your gift specifically to the Chrysalis House Women’s Shelter.
